Does it mean that the full case will be covered in 15 days or till the query is send if any... Hope i am being clear..
What my concern is after the query is send and replied, still the 15 day limit stays or it loses that and goes back to the normal processing.

I am thinking my "living the american dream" will be a dream only.
True. Its just a dream. You work on something for 20 years and get a GC at 45. What are you getting after that. Just continue your dream for another 20 to 30 years and call it a day.
If you get it by 25, you have some years to go hit something for your life.
I stopped worrying on GC and started living on tasks that help my family. I have a job now. If lost, I will go for another job and another and another in India/Europe/Australia/so and so. But surely not going to die or go to hospital for depression.

Non - English speaking or not isn't it the responsibility of the driver of the vehicle to drive following the rules of the Road. Why make a U-turn where it is not allowed. Why turn when it is written NO turn on Red. Is it the fault of the sign that you cannot read English.
US is an English speaking nation although people from all parts of the word live here. We have to abide by the common language which is English and not Spanish. The DMV cannot post sign in hundreds of languages that different people speak.
If the driver violated the law he must be given a ticket unless it is his first offence when a warning would be sufficient. Rules are meant to be followed.

could you please share when you applied for AP so that we can know how long it took for approval after RFE...
Applied for EAD/AP online on 06/04/2008.
Got 2 years EAD approved on 08/05/2008.
Got an RFE for AP (missing photos) on 08/07/08.
replied for RFE on 08/13/08.
AP approved on 09/13 and got it on 09/20

What happens in someone is not at the address and he does not receive any communication regarding the jury duty.
Well...If the judge happens to get enough jurors at the time he/she might not issue an arrest warrant ....If the judge issues the arrest warrant and the local police cannot find you, the warrant just sits there....There is a national database for outstanding warrants...When someone gets caught doing something else, they look up for the outstanding warrants..Then I guess they would hand you over to the police where there is an outstanding warrant for you. Otherwise the warrant just sits there..You would need to explain to the judge that you are not eligible for jury duty and explain the situation and the judge might expunge the record.....You would spend some hard earned money doing that...
The whole thing might degenerate into 'My Cousin Vinny'.
You should always forward your mail...Don't get caught doing something stupid either...That is a good advice for always.....

I would suggest to check the validity (start/end dates) of the LCA that was submitted along with your H1 petition. Also, check on the I-129 petition if your attorney entered correct dates or the dates on the LCA/I-129 match the dates approved by the USCIS.

Onething I noticed is that most people who are getting approvals, they all have completed their finger printing on or before Aug.

Please let me know the procedure you followed for filing AC21. Did you go through your own attorney?
I am going to file AC21, haven't done yet. My lawyer was more inclined towards going with EAD rather than H1 transfer in first place. I am still in negotiations with the new employer.
what additional documents do we need to submit to new employer while requesting H1 transfer? I assume copy of I-140 is needed. What did you do to make sure your new job is in similar category?

Guys,
Your help/guidance is needed on this strange situation.
I am still in India and I have got my H1B1 approved thru one employer. I am waiting on few documents from my employer who is in US. I am still waiting for these documents so that I can go for Visa stamping.
Apparantly, this employer is causing some issues in giving me all my supporting documents.
My question: can I find some other employer and transfer my H1B1 and then go for stamping thru this new employer?
You experience, knowledge will be appreciated.

However, I hear people talking about it all the time, there is no such thing as a transfer as if you could port your visa to a new company.
Whenever you want to switch jobs, you have to apply for a whole new H1.
Having one already does not make things faster or easier, except when you are already in the US. In this case, you can switch jobs as soon as you file the new H1, you don't have to wait for approval. However, there is a big risk:
what if the new H1 is denied? You already quit your previous employer and cannot work for the new one anymore...Then you are in big trouble.
In your situation, just file a new H1 with a new employer, that's it.

You or your wife's country of birth is important factor in whether you will save much time by being EB-2. If you are from China, your EB-2 priority date (PD) would be about 2.5 years ahead of the EB-3 date. However, since it could take 2 years to get a new PERM and I-140 approved, it wouldn't save much time. For India and other countries that are current, the difference might be worth it. Of course, your employer has to be willing to go through the work and expense of redoing PERM and the I-140, and must have an EB-2 position available for you.

I am in H1B and more than five years. My employer is a mid size
private Indian company. They start bringing more and more L1B
people and post them in client location. Their LCA is for 55K and they
are paid only 30K even though the billing is in three digit. All the
accomodation, per diem are paid by the client. We are into one of
the XXX product and there is no custom product from our company.
Whats the best way to deal with this guys. Whom should send I the
complaint about this. What they are doing is a complete violation
of law.
So please guide and share you experience.
P.S. If you dont have any information, please stay away. Do not
start the H1 vs L1, Anti-immis troll alert. Thanks for your
understanding. This has nothing to do with the L1 employees.
Dear Friend I totally agree with you. I was with one of these employers and have moved away from them. As suggested by some members you can report about these fraudulent activities to DOL. I know it is dufficult to leave these employers as they make the employees to sign bonds and try to capture all the money that they have acquired in PF etc back in the native country.
These employers are to be blamed for the current economy condition of this country and the condition of immigrants like us.
I know there are some members in this forum who will try to shout you down and make you quite.
But I feel if one believe in what is right then one should go ahead irrespective of what others think.
