Sathya sai baba ???? You haven't known about his deeds, if you can find it read about great magician PC Sircar meeting him about 15 years ago. This is what PC said about him.

One of my ex-colleagues got his GC approved out of turn last year itself. He was EB3 - PD November 2005. They approved it for him, his wife and his two kids! He is a big devotee of Sathya Sai Baba and I think he certainly got his blessings on this one..!

Try taking help from local senator office or even one of lead political figure(example first lady). A request from them makes things move faster.

i had tb 5 years ago,and i am perfectly ok but in x-ray still has scars.what should i do?i have a lots of tention ?becoz in gc medical exam is compulsory .even though i am perfectly ok now still have scars.plz suggest me what should i do?
you probably will be refered for specialist evaluation and then cleared after that. donot worry, scars does not equate to acive TB.

We are one EAD/AP. (may not matter in this scenario but still mentioning)
My daughter is a US born Citizen and she is under 2 years old with a valid Indian VISA.
She has been living in India with her Grand Parents for the past one year.
She will be travelling to the US accompanied by her uncle & Aunt who are returning to USA at the end of their vacation.
Question:
Since both parents are not accompanying the infant is there some documentation needed?
Has anyone done this before? Can you please post your experiences and suggestions?
I will be preparing a notarized letter of consent along with her Birth Certificate...is there anything else?
Any information will be sincerely appreciated

Your case seems peculiar to the ones that is normally discussed in this forum. I would suggest you post your message in the "ask a lawyer" section. You might get a better response from an attorney who practices immigration law.

Even PT MBA..can be a vehicle for career change as well as growth!
Full time has its + ..but will u wait till u get a GC to start ur MBA..?
I believe PT from any of the top 10 PT programs is worth considering! in chicago land area u have kello, UC and depaul...the rating for PT programs is different compared to full time!
You can only speculate..abt what is good and what is not! The first job break after a PT will be crucial! :rolleyes:
There is no logical reason to NOT do an MBA if u want change and further ur career!
PS: pursuing PT!

I have been given Form 221(g) after my interview and asked for some documents to be delivered. To my astonishment, my petitioner has denied to send me those documents as they say that they don't have those.
In this situation, is it possible for me to Transfer my case to another employer/petitioner ?
Please advise me urgently on this matter

If you have not completed your 6 years (or you have an approved 140) then you can find an employer to file a new H1B and you will not be counted against H1B cap. Do the premium and reapply for visa at the consulate. Try to carry a proof that your employer has declined to provide you with the documents requested.
Secondly, please post what documents consulate requested you to submit - I am sure one of the IVans will post you with alternatives. If one of the documents happens to be your personal credentials, wage statements and etc - even if you reapply with new employer, you will be no different than what you are now. BTW, is it your first time stamping?.

Actually the reply I got was from the attorney(who is HR head I believe) of the non-profit organization itself. What I was told that some companies do accept volunteers but due to ignorance of law on their part.
Volunteering itself means one is not paid for. But H4s cannot volunteer in their own field of expertise. This is what I understood.
Anyway I am planning to file my H1 this year.
On the lighter side of everything may be he is a member of numbersusa...

1. File I-140 whenever you receive the physical copy.
2. In the mean while your current I-140/I485 application based on substituted
labor will be processed as usual.
3. You can receive EAD/AP (Try not to use it though !!)

I don't think you are right for first question. AC21 can be invoked if you have applied 485 more than 180 days. Why EAD is related here. You can change the job after 180 days by transferring your H1 to new company. This is the information I have but it is better to verify it from a lawyer.

Words in CIR are supporting high skilled. At the same time Schumer mentioned that they will not allow companies to replace Americans with lower wage foreign workers. You can easily get the meaning of it. First CIR need to be introduced. And it needs to seen What CIR will offer for high skilled immigrants. Many lobbying groups waiting with laundry list of demands for them. Basically every group wants unlimited guest workers and green cards. Someone in congress has to take leadeship initiatives without politics and without any bias. Then only CIR is feasible

But isn't AC21 for a different position irrespective of whether you use it in the same company or different company. Technically you are suppose to be in same occupation till you get your green card Which is problem for me because i am trying to use the benefits obtained (EAD and AP) from my EB3 position and being promoted to a EB2 position while using the EAD and AP of my EB3 application

IMO, you should spend the money yourself instead of depending on the company for GC expenses...
Why are you worried about the money? Go hire a lawyer and get your GC process started, asking your manager/HR just for the paperwork support. That way it is easier for you and easier for them too...IMO, Asking the company to bear the expenses for GC is too much, especially in this economy.
As far as H1 is concerned, I guess you need to be in constant touch with your manager and press the issue till she talks to the immigration people and move from there. Talk to your supervisor and ask his help to move the paperwork faster. May be he/she can in turn talk to the HR person to speed things up, without the baloney you are hearing from HR. Also, talk to the lawyer and offer your HR manager that the lawyer can speak to her directly about the issue to speed up things...
In the meantime, keep your options open and look for another job so that you can transfer your H1 and start fresh...Hopefully if this option works, don't make the mistake of waiting for HR to start your GC process...Just be proactive and do it on your own...

Me and my wife used AP at SF airport couple of months ago. The process was very smooth and IOs know exactly what to do with this document. However you will be sent to secondary and you will have to wait there for around 30 minutes (sounds like normal process everywhere else too).
