A lot of people seem to hate on Apple products just because they're made by Apple.
I don't know of instances of Apple fans signing up on competitors forums, yet that seems to happen with some regularity around here. I'm not saying Apple fans don't antagonize competitors, but from my experience it's usually the other way around, as you point out.

People being gay and then teaching children gay history are 2 different things. I'm afraid that one is an affront that should not be tolerated by any good parent. I'd advise those parents to just pull their kids out of the public school system, which they should have never put their kid into in the first place.

I would try calling XBL support and asking for their supervisor, and that person's supervisor, & so on. Explain to them, (stay firm on your point) the reason you need it and what you can do with it. If you need to, I would mention you are in the process of obtaining a warrant for the IP. As you already know, them not knowing the IP is complete and utter BS.

How do you figure? A comparable gas powered car is in the $30,000+ range. Hybrids have always been higher priced than equivalent gas powered cars. Electric even higher priced than hybrids. Besides, a early adopters are paying for the development cost in addition to the production cost.

They have always stated the Volt would be coming by the end of 2010 ever since the program started back in 2007.
Also remember, the areas the Volt will be sold in first( DC, New York, etc) are affluent areas where people can afford the Volt.
And even at $41,000, GM is still taking a loss with the vehicle.

I think this is original case of the forthcoming iphone, if you guys look at all apple products, they all are aluminum. And i strongly believe that the new iphone will also be aluminum. This one looks sexy.........

I really don't think so It will be a margin building exercise, PC World (or Dixons/Currys/Whatever) did it on the last iPad, they will shrink wrap them up in higher margin products and tell people those are the only bundles they have in stock at the moment. If they are making very little margin and selling lots it will bring down the gross margin for the stores. Its just simple margin building.

Are you amongst tall buildings when you experience these dropped calls on Verizon? Maybe Verizon drops these calls because of the same reason AT&T does....
Don't get me wrong. I won't get an iPhone until I can get it on Verizon. I live in AZ and there are only two small spots where I ever lose a call and most of the time when I am in these areas, the calls do not drop.

I'm not 'saying' anything, just making a jab at the wording of a previous poster's wording (i.e. Windows7 took 7 years to get right, which is silly sounding when OSX has been at that 'version' for 10+ years. Now do some of you get it? Ragging on Windows7 (based on 'vista' which is only 5 years old by release date, although obviously started earlier internally (i.e. the 7 year old date makes no sense to begin with) and it's really based on NT which is 18 years old) when OSX is older (released for 10+ years and based on NeXT Step (NOT OS9) which is MUCH older (1985) than Windows period and that's based on Unix which is literally ancient in the tech world (1969). My experience with iAds has been good, you sometimes see interesting stuff. But what I like about them most is that somehow they don't seem intrusive or annoying. They're just a a record in tableview that we can just easily flick pass.
Normal ads on website stick on the banner or sidebar if you don't have any adblock plugins installed, and that makes those so annoying.

BUT, if you are a gvt worker you can get both discounts.
I priced out a new 80GB ipod w/2 Evo3 skins, and the applecare protection plan and it was $30 cheaper with the GVT discount ... but no luck with EDUHopefully it still applies to corporate discounts too. Can anyone confirm what?

The thing I truely love about Apple, is they look after their customers with regular updates to their software with useful features added. I can't think of another company that will add so many new features without charging users for it.
And with some luck it might be faster as well, something that Apple are great at delivering as well, better and faster.
