true story, I walked into Apple store today. I saw a nice iPad on the display. I like it a lot, but I really just do not have the money to pay for it. I "rigged" it out of the anti-theft device and nobody was looking at me. everybody seemed busy doing their own thing. I then proceeded to take the iPad to the front of the store. I had the iPad in my jacket. And no alarm sounded! wow, I had just walked off with a new iPad. well, it is a display model, but hey, it is free. $230 for an iPad? I think I got the better deal than you......
OP, you obviously knew you did the wrong thing, because all along you knew about it. as soon as you walked out of Best Buy, you knew what is going on, so why not do the right thing? just a suggestion. it's not like any of us that have the most morale, but it just seem like a right thing to do. why make the cashier take the fall? sure, they may be stoned according to you, but it sounds to me that you are taking advantage of others on purpose. ok, my lame morale speech is over. I'm going to go into AT&T store now and see if I can take some display U-Verse boxes home. my jacket have plenty of pockets!

I accidentally just went on BBC News... spoilt one surprise for myself :(
Yeah, i don't think the internet is a safe place until after weve seen the QT vid ourselves.
Meanwhile, the whole world is going nuts about a 300Gb iPod with built in Sat-Nav and Intel Quad-Core processors and we're sitting here nervously going at the alcohol, refusing to be tempted.

The reason why I didn't buy an Ipad yet. I would only browse on Safari and play games. Something that is available on my Macbook Pro.

I think my problem for this screen isn't that I can't see such a screen size being used on the iphone, I just can't see it happening now.
I think my main reasoning behind this comes as a developer - a new screen would likely require a different resolution ratio (a change from the 320x480/640x960 we work with now) and to be truthful given the fragmentation issues Apple's always so keen to point out in the Android market...well lets say unless the new resolution also coincides somehow with iPad changes down the way I can't imagine it happening.

So if its only a phone why comment. No distortion here. Its a good phone, has some issues, same as many phones. But other phones no one cares, just like I don't care about other phones, you should not care about the Iphone 4.

Ahhhh.... dude... the only Apps that don't really get approved are ones that do things that can cause security risks or just plain trying to steal your information.
Yeah, I know... there are also Apps that break the rules and get axed, but for the most part, my first point is true. Any legitimate application can get approved.

I don't really see why Apple will never do that. When Jobs said styluses are crap, obviously he didn't mean styluses as writing devices, he meant styluses as the way to interact with OS.
Education applications seem to be of some importance to Apple, and stylus support is pretty much required to make iPad useful for students, for example.

I would have a hard time enjoying something which reminded me every time I used it that I'd probably cost some kid his job, and that I basically stole. Sure, the feeling of euphoria for "sticking it to the man" must have been pretty cool, but now, every time you use it, remember what kind of person you are deep down. And don't for a minute think that returning that phone you found negates this...when the chips were down, and it was really tempting (not some cruddy used phone that you'd have had to make an effort to use) you failed at being a decent person.
